Use of Service
Shanilu Academy services are provided solely for educational purposes and individual skill development in the fields of communication and media. Users agree to use this site only for lawful purposes and not to infringe upon the rights of others or restrict the use of the site by others.
It is strictly prohibited to perform actions that may damage, disable, or overload our server infrastructure through digital attacks or the unauthorized use of automated software. This includes mass scraping attempts, bots accessing Course materials outside the official interface, and reverse engineering attempts against the platform. We reserve the right to limit access rates or block addresses that show patterns of excessive automated activity.
Any material available through self-paced education programs is intended for the participant's personal learning. Use of materials for commercial purposes without written permission from the academy may result in access suspension.
Section 02
Intellectual Property Rights
All materials provided at Shanilu Academy, including but not limited to videos, text, graphics, logos, and course materials, are the intellectual property of Shanilu Academy or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to access such materials for your personal learning purposes.
It is prohibited to copy, distribute, republish, or resell our materials without valid written permission from the academy management. This applies to debate and negotiation technique training modules, studio session recordings, presentation slides, and other supporting documents that are part of the program.
Use of the academy's trade names, logos, or visual elements on materials you create yourself requires written permission before publication. Violations of these terms may be subject to legal action in accordance with applicable copyright laws in Indonesia.
Section 03
Registration and User Account
When you create an account for a self-paced education program, you are required to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information. You are fully responsible for the confidentiality of your password and any activity that occurs under your account.
Shanilu Academy reserves the right to suspend or delete accounts found to provide false information or violate the established terms of service. If you suspect your account is being used by another party without permission, please contact us immediately through official channels so that access can be secured.
Accounts are personal and non-transferable. One account may only be used by one participant while taking the program, except for programs that specifically provide group licenses.
Section 04
Payment and Fee Policy
Access to certain training modules requires payment of fees determined by the academy according to the selected package. All payments are final and non-refundable once digital material access is granted, unless otherwise provided in our specific refund policy.
We reserve the right to change service prices at any time, but such changes will not affect the cost of programs you have already paid for and are currently taking. You will be notified via your registered account email if there is a price change for a package you have not yet purchased.
If payment fails to be processed by the payment service provider, access to materials will be temporarily suspended until the payment status is confirmed. We are not responsible for additional fees charged by third parties such as banks or digital wallets.
Section 05
Limitation of Liability
Shanilu Academy provides educational materials on an "as is" basis without guarantees of specific results, including guarantees of obtaining employment or passing professional exams. Each participant's learning outcomes are influenced by their level of participation, independent practice, and job market conditions, which are beyond the academy's control.
We are not responsible for any direct or indirect losses arising from the use or inability to use our services. We are also not responsible for the content or practices of third-party websites whose links may appear on our platform.
Course materials are continuously updated to reflect current broadcasting industry practices, however, we do not guarantee that every technique taught will be immediately accepted by every station or media institution. Participants still need to build their own portfolio and experience.
Section 06
Participant Conduct and Ethics
We expect every participant to uphold ethics and courtesy while participating in the program, both in online discussions and during studio practice. Acts of harassment, intimidation, or the dissemination of inappropriate content will result in permanent termination of service access without a refund.
We place great emphasis on academic integrity, and cheating in evaluations will be dealt with strictly in accordance with the academy's internal policies. Evaluations include assessments of interview techniques, debating skills, and negotiation skills provided in guided practice scenarios.
Participants are prohibited from recording group practice sessions without permission from the instructor and fellow participants. This is to maintain a comfortable learning environment and respect the privacy of every participant practicing in front of the camera.
Section 07
Termination of Service
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason including breach of these Terms and Conditions. Upon termination, your right to use the service will end immediately.
You may terminate your use of our services at any time by stopping access to our website or closing your account if applicable. Termination at the participant's initiative does not automatically create an obligation for a refund of payments already made.
Section 08
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms will be resolved through deliberation for consensus first.
If deliberation does not result in an agreement, the dispute will be resolved in the competent district court in the jurisdiction of our operational domicile. By continuing to use the service, you are deemed to have agreed to such legal forum.
